Meet the Teacher
Miss Tiara Ford
My name is Tiara Ford. I'm originally from Indianola, MS but moved to the lovely city of Cleveland. I graduated from Delta State University in 2016 with a major in Social Work and a minor in Psychology. I am currently working towards a Masters in School Counseling at Delta State University.
I am the STEM Lab Instructor for the 2nd grade team. STEM is an education curriculum that provides emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). My goal is to create a fun, hands-on learning environment and allow students to use creativity while enhancing their learning abilities.
In addition, I complete Response to Intervention(RTI) by working with students 1:1 or in small groups to aid with struggling areas such as phonics, reading/math fluency, sight words, vocabulary, etc. I work with each student daily for a minimum of 15 minutes and monitor progress each Friday to track growth.
I am happy to be part of the Nailor family. I am excited about working with the 2nd grade students and the 2nd Grade team!
